Meet The Team
Rev. Robin Ham
Pioneer Minister for Grace Church & St Paul's
Robin is married to Zoe and they have five children. They've loved living in Barrow since they moved here six years ago. Robin has responsibility for leading Grace Church & St Paul's.
Originally Robin hails from the Wirral, near Liverpool, but he's worked for churches in London and Cheltenham, and trained for ministry at Oak Hill Theological College in London. He regularly writes for Explore, a set of Bible-reading notes published by the Good Book Company, and teaches Mission & Apologetics for Cumbria Christian Learning.
He has been a big fan of avocados since before they got trendy, and loves following Barrow AFC.
He blogs on how Christianity engages with culture and church-planting here.

The Bible describes church as like a human body, with many different parts working together to make the whole body flourish. We're all needed - with our many different gifts and personalities.
Grace Church was planted by a team led by Robin Ham. After Grace Church committed to merging with St Paul's Barrow, Robin was appointed to lead the new combined church. We're now blessed to be resourced & led through a wider staff & ministry team.
Robin is accountable to the Archdeacon of Westmorland & Furness, as well as to the Bishop of Carlisle.
